The first drawing of the Eifelland Grand Prix car
The
first model made in winter 1971/72. Clearly to be seen, that the
basis was the
round March chassis.
The
basic model: March Ford 721, here in original configuration with
Ronnie Peterson
in the cockpit.
The bodywork created by Luigi Colani looked very futuristic ...
...
and made the March car a lot faster. But it also caused
overheating of the engine,
so it was only tested, but never raced.
