GRAND PRIX OF KOREA 2000: EASY WIN FOR KARTHIKEYAN

Narain Karthikeyan of India ran out a worthy winner of the Korean Formula 3 Grand Prix taking his Carlin Motorsport Dallara Mugen Honda from pole to victory in both 25-lap-races at Changwon, South Korea. Karthikeyan, a protege of Stewart Racing, will have another chance to shine on Friday, 1st December, when he is scheduled to test drive a Formula One Jaguar Cosworth R1 at British Silverstone.

From the front row, Portugal`s Tiago Monteiro with his ASM Elf Dallara Renault chased home for second in race one ahead of Jonathan Cochet (Signature Dallara Renault) and maintened a solid second place by outspeeding Austria`s Patrick Friesacher (BSR Dallara Opel) and Italian Gianmaria Bruni (Fortec Dallara Mugen Honda) in race two. Macau winner Andre Couto, who started down 18th place on the grid, was 6th.
