The triangular circuit of the Schleizer Dreieck lies in the South East part of Germany. It is the countries oldest race track surrounded by a landscape, that is only comparable to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium or the track on the Isle of Man in Britain. Originally constructed for motorcycle racing back in 1923, this fantastic natural arena is also used for cars with the sixties´Formula 3 as it´s climax. On the following pages researchracing photographer Hans Joerg Denzler, a Schleiz native, shows us the beauty of his home circuit in exclusive pictures.
