SURTEES HONOURED AS MOTO GP LEGEND AT DONINGTON PARK
Conquering the world on two and four wheels remains the domain of John Surtees, who has been nominated as a MotoGP Legend and inducted as a member of the MotoGP Hall of Fame at a special ceremony on the eve of the Cinzano British Grand Prix at Donington Park. Surtees won at total of 38 Grand Prix en route to seven titles riding the exotic MV Agusta machines in the 350cc and 500cc worldchampionships from 1956 to 1960. He later switched to four wheels and in 1964 he beat his great rival Graham Hill to clinch Formula One title driving a Ferrari.
