Kleiner Weltmeisterwagen. Jack Brabhams Cooper Climax hatte noch keinen Überrollbügel, die Sicherheitgurte wurden nachträglich eingebaut.

Small worldchampionship car. Jack Brabhams Cooper Climax had no roll-bar, the seat belts were installed later.

Einfach, aber nicht unkomfortable. Das Cockpit dominieren das relativ grosse lederbezogene Lenkrad und die zahlreichen Instrumente am Armaturenbrett. Der Feuerlöscher liegt genau unter den Knien des Fahrers.

Simple, but not umcomfortable. The cockpit is dominated by the relatively big steering-wheel and lots of instruments at the dash board. The fire-extinguisher lies exactly under the driver`s knees.

Technik im Detail. Der Cooper hat einen Stahlrohrahmen und seitliche Tanks aus Aluminium. Die 5-Gang-Schaltung verfügt über eine Kulisse wie sonst nur bei Ferrari.

Technical details. The cooper has got a space-frame made of steel pipes, aluminum tanks in the side pots and a 5-speed-gearselection with a scene only Ferrari Grand prix cars use.
